September 15, 2018 - After months of hard work on a variety of projects, I finally get my summer vacation! So for the next week I will be in the woods with no human contact at all!
September 4, 2018 - When I turned on my computer this morning I discovered that the server had erased a large quantity of my emails from the past weekend. So if anyone sent me anything important, it might be a good idea to send it again...
August 16, 2018 - While my mother was out doing her grocery shopping this afternoon someone left several plants on her front steps. They are nearly dead and have been removed from their pots, but still have a dirt covered root ball on each so they might be salvageable. So if anyone is missing their potted plants today let me know.

January 25, 2018 - Happy Burn's Day to all of my Scottish friends and family! I have my haggis in the oven and I'm ready for dinner!
January 22, 2018 - And we have daffodils again! After last year's destruction of the grounds by the municipal road crew, I was worried that they were gone for good. But with a little replanting and a lot of luck, we now have a yard full of flowers once more!
