March 9, 2013 - One of the joys of genealogy - over the last few days I have discovered that I am (possibly) the 29th great grandson of Lady MacBeth, the 20th great grandson of Robert the Bruce, that I am descended from a line of Scottish kings who ruled in the dark ages, and even ancestors among the Pictish people of Great Britain.
March 8, 2013 - What an exciting evening this has been! As some of you know, I have been trying to track back my maternal grandfather's family for some years, but with no success. Tonight I met a third cousin who has already found a lot of the data, and graciously shared it with me. I will be posting some of it on my family blog later in the month.
February 21, 2013 - Today marks the fifth anniversary of my new truck. Some of you may wonder why someone would celebrate an anniversary with his truck, but a lot of individuals reading this already know.
January 25, 2013 - Happy Burn's Day to my Scottish friends and family!
January 24, 2013 - I just got my new tablet, and have it set up now. I am back in business, and will be returning missed e-mails and calls for the rest of the day.
January 22, 2013 - I am beginning to think that an evil electronics spirit has invaded my home office. In the last four days I have had my cell phone, tablet computer, desktop computer, webcam, PVR, and my desk lamp all have catastrophic electrical failures and need replacing!
