February 14, 2016 - Happy Valentine's Day!
February 11, 2016 - A reminder to those living in Saanich that there is a meeting tonight at Pearkes Arena to discuss the controversial environmental protection bylaw that has been causing a lot of trouble for fellow residents with its overzealous application. Those affected and those who support them are encouraged to be at the arena by 6:00pm tonight to show support and speak out against this draconian rule.
February 10, 2016 - I am not sure if there is anything quite as irritating as getting an opportunity to do something great with your life, only to find yourself once again stuck as a caregiver for people that the hospital system doesn't want to treat. This city needs to get more quality and quantity of carehome beds and quit relying so much on unpaid family caregivers. Their apathy is destroying lives!
February 6, 2016 - I cannot believe it has already been seventeen years since the Island Health staff promised me they would have a carehome space for my parents within two weeks. Still waiting.
January 20, 2016 - As many of you already know, my websites have come under attack a number of times in the last five years and my current webhost is really not sophisticated enough to provide adequate security measures. December 29, 2015 - With all the media hype surrounding the earthquake tonight, I thought I should assure everyone that I was not affected. Apparently it was a magnitude 4.8 earthquake centered about 20km north of where I live. However all I noticed was a slight rumbling like something heavy had dropped off a shelf. It was only later while watching the news that I learned there had been an actual earthquake. But I am alright and have not been affected in any way at all by it.

December 12, 2015 - My laugh for the day - I was testing out a new piano keyboard and someone came up to me and offered me a paid gig at a Christmas party! If I wasn't already so busy I might have had a new career path!
