December 25, 2017 - MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
November 30, 2017 - I just had my fourth visitor today asking where the garage sale is. The answer is that there isn't one, but apparently someone online gave out my address. I am not sure if it was a mistake or a prank, but I suppose that I am going to have to put a sign up for the rest of the week.
November 11, 2017 - Remembrance Day. Let us each take a moment out of our busy schedules to remember all of those who sacrificed to protect our freedoms. Lest we forget...

October 24, 2017 - With the arrival of Halloween next week, I have once again had inquiries into my pumpkin artwork and photography. For those who are interested, two great sources of patterns and templates are PumpkinGlow and Zombie Pumpkins. I have had a lot of success in past years with their designs (interested viewers can see my own artwork from 2001-2005,2005-2011, and 2012-2016. Some of these are based on Zombie designs, while others are my own original designs).
October 9, 2017 - HAPPY CANADIAN THANKSGIVING!!
October 4, 2017 - I have just finished reseeding the lawn and replacing the flowers that the municipality destroyed, and I finish rebuilding the retaining wall and getting new topsoil delivered last week. I never knew that there was so much work required to maintain a small yard!
September 26, 2017 - I finally have my retaining wall rebuilt and the last load of new topsoil has been leveled out. Maybe now I can get back to some semblance of a normal routine.
August 31, 2017 - I loved this article on the burdens being placed on unpaid caregivers! However having been an unpaid caregiver for nineteen years now (with no support at all from the hospital system) I must say that it does not go nearly far enough. The hospitals need to be ordered to quit dumping their responsibility for patient care onto family members!
August 24, 2017 - For the first time since the start of April we have a road again, and I can finally use my driveway. You would think that with so many workers the municipality could repair a road faster than five months!
August 6, 2017 - I have finally gotten the water supply lines to the house dug up and repaired. As I thought there was a large crack and it was spewing forth water at an alarming rate, and probably contributing to my earlier illness. Maybe now we won't be suffering with contaminated water anymore!
July 3, 2017 - Due to contamination of the household water supply, I am currently suffering the worst illness I have had in at least twenty years. Needless to say that I won't be able to do any projects or meet with anyone for at least a week.
